Idiot Berates Chick-Fil-A Drive-Thru Girl, Loses Job
“I don’t know how you live with yourself,” said the man berating a pleasant young girl working at a drive-thru window.
Meet Adam Smith, a self described “nice guy” who “just can’t stand the hate.” The hate in question, according to Smith, is coming from Chick-Fil-A in the form of charitable donations the company makes to anti-gay marriage groups. And the best way to fight this hate, according to Smith, is to stick a camera in the face of an unsuspecting fast-food employee who has no control over the matter in an attempt to humiliate her on the Internet. Well played, Adam.
You’ll be happy to know that Smith is “totally heterosexual” and that there’s “not a gay in (him),” whatever that means (Oh, hell with it. You know what it means). You’ll be happier to know that since posting this video, Smith has been fired from his job as CFO of Vante Inc. I’m not sure if it’s legal to fire someone just because they look like a cross between Aaron Sorkin and a dog’s puckering anus*, but in this case, I hope it holds up.
*He looks better than I do.
I guess the only question left to ask is how long will it take for some confused conservative group to start a counter protest by seeking to ban copies of The Wealth of Nations from local libraries?
At any rate, the moral of the story is that if you’ve got a problem with Chick-Fil-A, don’t take it out on the drive-thru girl (unless the problem involves mistakenly getting barbecue instead of honey mustard, in which case, feel free to yell at her).
