Britney Spears Is Quitting X-Factor

Did you watch X-Factor, this season? If you didn’t, you’re like most Americans, who vastly preferred The Voice on NBC to X-Factor. It’s a problem for X-Factor because Simon Cowell shelled out big bucks to bring in big stars, specifically Britney Spears, who earned 15 million for the season. The big question was whether Britney would be back.

People would ask, but Britney refused to tip her hand.

Of course, behind the scenes, we’re pretty sure we know what she was thinking.

And you know what? She was right. X-Factor just wasn’t cool. It was a lot of things, but there was nothing anyone could do about the fact that it just wasn’t cool.

Of course, we know what isn’t boring for Britney: making brainless dance music with Will.I.Am.

So today, it appears, Britney reached a decision. No more X-Factor.

She says she’s getting back to what she does best:
