Yeah Flashback! Presents: Where Were They Then?

Thanks to Youtube, no actor or actress can hide their humble beginnings in film and television. We scoured the tubes and dug up some of our favorite first roles. Julia Stiles In Ghostwriter. We put this one first because it may be the best thing you see today, and we didn’t want you to miss it. Let’s look back to the 90’s and a PBS show called Ghostwriter. If you look closely enough, you can see a young Julia Stiles, dressed eerily similar to her character in Save The Last Dance, pretending to be down with the cyberpunks.

Milla Jovovich In Parker Lewis Can’t Lose. Before Milla Jovovich began kicking the butts of whatever on-screen baddies might be in her way, she was just a stunning beauty who caught the eye of Parker Lewis and every other guys who happened to glance her way.

Jessica Alba In The Secret World Of Alex Mack. It must be tough to be typecast as the most beautiful girl on the planet when you’re not even out of high school. It’s ok, Jessica, I’m pretty sure there’s a support group you can join with Angelina Jolie and Milla Jovovich.

Selma Blair in Pete & Pete. Although Selma Blair seems to have faded from view, her first appearance on The Adventures of Pete & Pete will never fade from our memory. Why? Because The Adventures Of Pete & Pete was to my generation what iCarly and Victorious are to this generation.

George Clooney In Roseanne. There’s a lot we remember and love about Roseanne, but one of the things we’d forgotten—or never even known to remember—was that it was one of the first places a young George Clooney turned up after deciding to become the world’s largest movie star and all-around great guy.
