Robin Sparkle’s Greatest Hits

Posted by Earnest on February 6, 2013

If you’re like us, you love How I Met Your Mother, and you’re in love with Robin Scherbatsky’s former alter-ego, Canadian teen pop sensation Robin Sparkles. This week, How I Met Your Mother gave us an early Valentine’s Day present, by giving us another Robin Sparkles video. This one, however, had a twist. Instead of the normal 80’s pop goodness, this Robin Sparkles video was a parody of Alanis Morisette’s You Outta Know and was “the most 90’s video ever.” Before we get to the latest music video, let’s take a look at her past hits:

First, there’s "Let’s Go To The Mall." This song was totally 80′s even though it came out in the mid-90′s in Canada. They’re just a little bit behind.

Next, we got Sandcastles In The Sand, which has a cameo from 80′s teen pop star, Tiffany. Super schmaltzy– just like it ought to be.

Last night, we got PS I Love You. In Canada, the day Robin Sparkles became Robin Daggers and performed this song is known as The Day Grunge Was Born. The year was 1997— Again, Canada is just a little slow.

Do you have a favorite Robin Sparkles video? If so, let us know which one is your favorite in the comments. On tweet me at @earnestp. We can talk How I Met Your Mother!
