Olivia Munn Alludes to Aaron Rodgers Drama After Packers Loss
If you were wondering when OIivia Munn was going to find a way to “comment” on the whole controversy surrounding boyfriend, Aaron Rodgers, and his family, your wait is over. The Green Bay Packers positively melted down against the Atlanta Falcons this weekend and were eliminated from the playoffs.
Now that Rodgers won’t be competing at the Super Bowl, Munn has decided to take to social media to show her “support” in the form of a mildly passive aggressive post.
In a handwritten note published on Instagram, 36-year-old Munn said: “So proud of this team. They faced a lot of adversity on and off the field, but battled to get this far. Thank you to those of you who encouraged and supported them by choosing to put out only *positive* energy. It helped them get this far.”
She made sure to put stars around the word “positive” for extra emphasis. Let’s all collectively roll our eyes.
Okay, honestly, she’s not married to the 33-year-old quarterback who stopped speaking to his parents and two brothers shortly after they began dating. Still, if she wanted to make a point, she should have dedicated her post to *him* not “this team.”
How about something like this: “So happy for the Green Bay Packers! They beat many odds and defied critics with their outstanding postseason performance. Special kudos to superstar quarterback (and love of my life), Aaron Rodgers, who led the team with grace.”
So much cleaner. I mean, did the team really suffer because Aaron’s brother was on The Bachelorette and his dad told the New York Times that they weren’t speaking??
Try to sell that “adversity” story to the teammates of Ben Roethlisberger.
