Fifth Harmony Cancels NHL All-Star Performance
The ladies of Fifth Harmony were supposed to sing the national anthem at the NHL All-Star game this past weekend but cancelled at the last minute. Fortunately, Courtney Daniels, a girl who normally helps clean up the ice, was able to step in and belt out the song with just 15 minutes’ notice. Honestly, she probably did a better job than they would have.
So what happened?
Apparently, Fifth Harmony member, Dinah Jane Hansen, fell ill in her dressing room and the paramedics were called in for assistance. While she was, initially, put on a stretcher, they ended up deciding that she didn’t have to go to the hospital after all.
Look, don’t get me wrong. I’m sure that there was something truly distressing going on but pull it together, people! There were three other girls who could have gone out there and tried to sing the anthem. Yes, it wouldn’t have been great because the harmonies wouldn’t have been as tight but that’s what it means to be professional. The show must go on!
Maybe Dinah was too busy bellyaching about Camila Cabello leaving the group. These girls have whined about that so much in public that they should be embarrassed. Now they can say that they’ve also started becoming unreliable after this stunt.
Now they have two choices – get new management and get their collectively crap together or they can ask Courtney Daniels to leave the NHL Ice Crew and join their group so that they can stop crying about not having a fifth harmonizer any more. Ugh.
