George Michael Was Finally Buried Three Months After Dying
This is so awful and, really, it not something to laugh about. Fans were left devastated when George Michael died on December 25, 2016 – Christmas Day! His death seemed sudden and people became suspicious about what could have caused the 53-year-old’s death.

Fortunately, a coroner has finally revealed that Michael passed away from natural causes. In light of this, I guess it was finally time for him to be laid to rest.
More than three months later, a private funeral was held in his honor in London. Family members released a statement to Entertainment Tonight saying: “We can confirm that the funeral of the singer George Michael took place today. Family and close friends gathered for the small, private ceremony to say goodbye to their beloved Son, Brother and Friend…
George Michael’s family would like to thank his fans across the world for their many messages of love and support. We ask that the family’s wish for privacy be respected so that they can continue to live their lives privately, away from any media intrusion.”
Directly addressing the confusion and drama that followed the death, the statement also said:
“As there is a confirmed natural cause of death, being Dilated Cardiomyopathy with Myocarditis and Fatty Liver, the investigation is being discontinued and there is no need for an inquest or any further inquiries.”
Perhaps because of this solemn but less menacing conclusion, Michael’s boyfriend, 40-year-old Fadi Fawaz, was allowed to attend the services along with former supermodel, Kate Moss, who was a longtime neighbor.
May George Michael (finally) rest in peace.
