Is That Epic “Game of Thrones” Meeting About to Finally Happen?
Did you see this week’s episode of Game of Thrones? It was filled with absolute craziness but the big thing that everyone is talking about is that it seems to suggest that Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen are finally going to meet.
If you’ve been a fan of the show, you will know that people have been waiting for this to happen for six whole seasons and, finally, in the second episode of season seven, Dany has been fully versed on Snow’s existence while he simultaneously received a letter from Tyrion asking him to meet her.
At first, he is dissuaded from traveling to Dragonstone where she currently resides but a second letter arrives and he knows he must go – Samwell has discovered that Dragonglass can be found in Dragonstone (feels kind of obvious, right?) and it can be used to defeat the White Walkers. Now, Snow can’t just sit back. He mounts his horse and leaves Sansa in charge (it will be a miracle if Winterfell is still standing, if and when he returns).
We’re going to go ahead and predict that next week’s episode, “The Queen’s Justice,” will be one of the most viewed episodes in the history of the show even though there’s no suggestion that the epic meeting will happen (in fact, they will probably drag this out for a couple weeks but you never know!).
Game of Thrones airs Sundays, 9 p.m. on HBO.
