Police Called Over Jon and Kate’s Public Fight
They’ve been divorced since 2009 but, in those eight years, things have not improved for Jon and Kate Gosselin. It seems that their relationship is just as toxic and bitter as its ever been and that’s sad for them but even sadder for their children.
Apparently, the former couple got into a fight in public which resulted in someone calling the cops. One of them dropped off their 13-year-old daughter at the orthodontist but, when both of them showed up to take her home things went downhill.
According to sources, an argument erupted in the clinic and it must have been bad enough to warrant calling for backup. A Wyomissing Police Department spokesperson told Entertainment Tonight, “The call came in at 1:10 this afternoon for a verbal domestic argument … over the custody of one of their 13-year-old daughters. No one was arrested and the daughter did go home with the father after she expressed that was her desire to do.”
Geez. To be fair, this type of thing is never easy and many of us have had tense moments out in public. That being said, it’s too bad that this had to happen, especially as the school year begins, since these headlines are bound to be embarrassing for their kids.
The family rose to fame when they were featured on the TLC show, Jon & Kate Plus 8. Together, the parents share 16-year-old twins Mady and Cara, as well as 13-year-old sextuplets, Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Leah and Joel.
