Mila Kuns Says No More Babies with Ashton Kutcher

As she promotes her upcoming film, A Bad Moms Christmas, Mila Kunis has opened up about her own choices regarding parenthood. The actress shares 3-year-old daughter, Wyatt, and 11-month-old son, Dimitri, with husband, Ashton Kutcher.

“I will only have two,” says told People. “But I have heard [moving from] two to three is the hard [jump].  [It’s hard] when they outnumber you. Right now, we’re fine. One hand, one hand. One eye, one eye. Two people, two kids.”

In the future, though, she’s hoping the pair will find ways to entertain each other and give her a break (how many parents can relate to this dream?). “People that have two kids, [they] grow up and they’re 10 and 8 and play with each other and take care of themselves. Then they [grow up] and go off and have a baby.”

Are there any parallels between Kunis and her Bad Moms alter ego? Not really, she says, except for one thing. “The only thing I’ve ever felt guilty about, and I actually apologized to my 3-year-old, is when I overreact,” she explained. “I absolutely apologize to her. Even from a point when she didn’t understand that I was apologizing, I would be like, ‘I’m really sorry. Mommy didn’t handle that situation very well.’”

It’s refreshing to hear a mom (or dad) admit to overreacting or struggling with patience because, really, it’s not easy taking care of kids. Kunis said that she’s working on improving her “short fuse” and has developed a strategy for coping in those stressful moments.

“I’ll walk away, and I’ll come back, and I’ll sit [Wyatt] down and I’m like, ‘I’m really sorry. Mommy overreacted. Do you forgive me?’ And she’s like, ‘Yeah, I forgive you.’ Whether she understands what just happened or not, I want her to know that I’m as flawed as she is.”
